Have you ever ask yourself the following questions regarding Colon Hydrotherapy?

  1.  Would you like to feel healthier?
  2.  Have you ever considered the benefit of what a colonic could do for you?
  3.  Remove toxic waste from your body?
  4.  Increase your absorption of nutrients for your body?
  5.  Eradicate constipation, gas and bloating?

  • What is Colon Hydrotherapy (CHT).

“Colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs.  By introducing filtered and temperature-regulated water into the colon, the waste issoftened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis.  This process is repeated a few times during a session (I-Act, 2006).

  • Why Colon Hydrotherapy?

The main purposes of CHT are to hydrate the body, stimulate the bowel’s muscle activity, and evacuate waste from the colon (I-Act, 2006).  The Colon Hydrotherapy process delivers purified water safely and comfortably via a gravity flow device.  This hydration stimulates peristalsis within the colon and evacuates waste material from the colon using the person’s muscle action.

Leonard Smith, MD, of Gainesville, Florida, a General surgeon who was board certified by the American College of Surgery, with twenty five years practicing as a specialist in Gastrointestinal Surgery, states, “If medical centers, hospitals, and clinics installed Colon Hydrotherapy departments, they would find such departments just as efficacious for patients as their present treatment areas.”  (B. Watson & Stockton, 2002).

  • Swedish Massage Therapy

Swedish massage is general systematic massage of the soft tissues of the body to induce a state of deep relaxation.  It works mainly on the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and it increases the body’s blood and lymphatic circulation.  Swedish massage incorporates effleurage (long gliding strokes), Petrissage (kneading), compression, vibration, and tapotement.

Physur Health invite’s you to a 60 minutes of an awesome Swedish Massage’s of overall relaxation.  Swedish massage addresses most major muscle groups of the body.  Swedish massage is also used as an integral part of pain management protocols for sports injuries and chronic pain.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon Anatomy and General information about the Digestive Tract.
The digestive system includes a long tube that is approximately thirty feet long (nine meters) in a typical adult, extending from the back of the throat to the exit at the anus. This tube includes the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum, and anus. Several accessory structures support digestive activity including the teeth, tongue, salivary glands, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. Food moves along from the mouth to the anus and is involved five important activities.
1. Ingestion
2. Peristalsis
3. Digestion
4. Assimilation
5. Defecation
Eastern medicine teaches that nothing leaves the stomach until it reaches body temperature. Therefore, drinking cold liquids and eating cold foods slows this process. This often results in GERD, since the food lingers in the stomach longer and heat will always rise. Using warming herbs, such as ginger and cinnamon, helps stimulate digestive fire (Flaws, 1998).
